Business Assessment Test (BAT)

Capstone data on student performance

Our vision is to provide a benchmark for Business schools to compare and evaluate student learning effectiveness. Currently, the College of Business at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ leads an effort to develop a capstone knowledge test for undergraduate students in California. The Business Assessment Test (BAT) was implemented for the first time in fall 2004 to assess business functional knowledge and quantitative skills. Since 2004, 15 CSU campuses and 1 international campus have regularly participated in BAT. All participating campuses can receive comprehensive information about their student performance in 10 different subject areas, including a comparison with the average of other campuses. These assessment results provide valuable program input to improve our teaching and learning experience.
