Matt Lesenyie

Matt Lesenyie, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of political science at ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñState University, Long Beach. He has a strong background in state and local politics with expertise in political psychology, interest groups, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñpolitics, and race politics

Professor Lesenyie's research examines whether and what voters can learn from elite messaging and information cues. His current project shows how voters respond to campaign finance disclosures in political advertisements.

Professor Lesenyie holds a doctorate degree in political science from the University of California, Davis.
