ArcGIS Pro Software Installation

If you wish to install ArcGIS Pro on your own personal Windows computer or office workstation, you can now access the software installer on the CULB Campus Software resource. Here’s how:

  1. Log into your Ӱ single sign-in page.
  2. Look for the button (aka, "chicklet") for Campus Software.
  3. Locate the pane for the ArcGIS Pro software and click “Add to Cart.”
  4. In the upper right-hand corner of your screen, click on the button that says “View Cart.” In the Cart Details page, click on “Checkout,” then “Complete Order.”
  5. You should then receive an order confirmation via email. This will be sent to your Ӱ student or staff email account. Click on the black Software Instructions button and read the text provided. When you are ready to download the ArcGIS Pro installer, scroll down to the “ArcGIS Pro Installation or Version Upgrade” section. You will find a link to the install media in the first bullet item. On the next screen, click on “Download.” Note that this is a large (2.8GB) download which may take up to 5 minutes to complete. Be sure that you have a stable Internet connection with adequate bandwidth before starting the download.
  6. Once you have successfully downloaded the installer, carefully follow the instructions provided in the “Installation Instructions PDF” that can be found in the third bullet item in the “ArcGIS Pro Installation or Version Upgrade” section. If you experience any problems with the installation, please contact your course instructor for assistance. If they are unable to solve the issue, contact the Geography Department GIS Lab Manager.
